Shayna Myhill

     Burlesque and striptease dancer Lili St. Cyr, who was active in the United States and Canada during the 40’s and 50’s, was the inspiration for my evening dress. Researching her life story, I was most drawn to her endless search for love. Having been married 5 times with no children, she maintained her career into her early fifties. After her retirement she hid form the limelight and refused to have any photos taken of her; claiming she did not want anyone to remember her in her old age.
