For my denim course I took inspiration from the history of the classic 5 pocket jean. As the original Levi's jeans were first patented in 1873 as a working man's trouser I decided to focus on the "working women" -  and by that I mean the high class prostitutes from the same era. This resulted in a collection that was primarily inspired by the undergarments of the time, which were overly frilly and kitsch as many things were in the Victorian era.
